Coming back from NOLA with a loaded 30’ toy hauler, all 3 bikes and gear in the back. A drunk driver pulling a travel trailer lost control on a bridge in Mississippi, I-10, and plowed into both my trailer and truck pushing us into the concrete barrier.
The force was enough to total the truck and trailer, everything in the trailer was thrown everywhere. The pit-bull TRS was the only reason that the bikes weren’t thrown thru the trailer wall and into the water. The force was great enough to Bend the TRS arm and pins, which is no mean feat as these restraints are VERY beefy.
I can’t imagine where or how my bikes would have faired if it hadn’t been for the TRS systems. Never use anything but going forward.
