Also, not enough stars. These stands are without a doubt, in a class of their own. Only way your bike will fall is due to you wanting it to fall. To George and staff, Thanks!
Awesome stand. A little awkward the first few times to seat it on the spools. But it is so nice, the confidence you have using this quality stand!
Like others, I made the mistake of cheaping out on some trash-ass motorcycle stands and paid the price - laid my bike down when they busted mid-lift. Still seeing red, I went to Pit Bull's website immediately and bought what I should've in the first place. I was expecting a quality product, but when I received my rear stand, I was blown away by the quality and craftsmanship. God, they look and feel so satisfying! When inserting the pull handle into the lower section, I couldn't help but marvel at the extremely precise machine work where the two pieces join. If you get a tingly feeling from expertly crafted things, you'll love this. The welds are beautiful, the wheels spin like they're lubricated with butter, and there's absolutely no play or wiggle in any part of this stand. I have a ZX14R, so I went with the extension handle on mine and I'm glad I did. Not only do you get more leverage, but the extra length of the handle lets you maneuver a bit more to line up on the spools.
These stands are rock solid and haven’t shown bit of wear that is of concern is over 10 years of ownership. Spent a decade in Hawaii and 5 years in coastal Georgia. No corrosion visible. If you use your stand to wash your bike & wheels; make sure to pulled plugs out and WD40 and dry after washing or you’ll get surface rust on inner tubes. But that is no fault of PitBull design. Sure make wheel cleaning easyier that rolling heavy liter bikes back and forth. I store my bike using the stands when not riding. Makes more room in garage, prevents flat spotted tires, & best of all the look fantastic when propped up on the rest perch. Best stands are I’ve found. Bombproof design on
Bought this stand for rear tire/chain maintenance on my Speed Twin 1200. While shopping and comparing reviews the Pit Bull name kept coming up as the best 'should've bought' stand. American made is important too. It was shipped within 24hrs and arrived in California in about 4 days. Assembly took about 2 minutes and I had my bike up and the wheel spinning with no drama. Chain adjusted, lubed and rim cleaned in 15 minutes. The stand is beefy and impressive on sight. No second guessing to it. This is the tool you want
